Our client, a highly regarded healthcare-focused law firm with a national reputation and offices in the Detroit metro area, is expanding its team and seeking an attorney with 3–7 years of experience in administrative law and/or litigation. While prior healthcare experience is a plus, it is not required. Attorneys with experience in insurance defense, medical malpractice, or other complex civil litigation practices are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative proceedings and regulatory disputes
  • Handle investigations and high-exposure litigation matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
  • Represent clients in hearings, proceedings, and court appearances
  • Maintain strong client communication and advisory relationships

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in administrative law and/or litigation
  • Healthcare law experience preferred, but not required
  • Background in insurance defense, medical malpractice, or complex civil litigation strongly considered
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and a high-volume caseload
  • Licensed and in good standing (Michigan preferred)
