Job Description

I'm currently partnering with a well-established and growing electrical contractor in the Houston market that is looking to bring on an experienced Safety Engineer to support their field operations and help drive a proactive safety culture across commercial and industrial projects.

This is a great opportunity for a safety professional with electrical or construction experience who’s passionate about keeping teams safe, compliant, and supported in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field safety audits and inspections on active job sites

  • Assist in developing and implementing site-specific safety plans

  • Collaborate with project managers and foremen to ensure OSHA and company standards are followed

  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to field personnel

  • Maintain documentation, reports, and safety records

  • Serve as a resource to field teams, promoting engagement and accountability

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of safety experience in the electrical or commercial construction industry

  • OSHA 30 required; CHST, CSHO, or other certifications a plus

  • Solid understanding of OSHA standards and industry best practices

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with field teams

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
