A prestigious business law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Attorney to join their highly regarded Employment Law team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney with at least two years of litigation experience who is eager to deepen their expertise in employment law. Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and pre-trial proceedings.
  • Provide counsel to clients on a variety of employment law issues, such as wage and hour, FMLA, ADA, and compliance matters.
  • Manage case files, ensuring adherence to deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Assist in policy development, compliance training, and resolving pre-litigation disputes.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and complex legal matters.
  • Stay current on changes to employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law.
  • Strong academic background with proven ability to handle complex legal work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with employment law topics, including wage and hour, FMLA, ADA, and discrimination.
  • Experience managing cases, preparing for depositions, and supporting trial preparation.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Active membership with the California State Bar in good standing.
