We are hiring a Senior Estimator to oversee preconstruction efforts for commercial and industrial projects. This role involves managing all estimating functions, developing bid strategies, and leading junior estimators.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for competitive and negotiated bids.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor inputs.
Lead quantity takeoffs, bid leveling, and value engineering efforts.
Build relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
Mentor junior estimators and improve departmental efficiency.
Qualifications:
7+ years of estimating experience in commercial or industrial construction.
Proven expertise in conceptual and detailed cost estimating.
Proficiency with estimating software (Sage, Bluebeam, or similar).
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
