Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation Defense – Irvine, CA

A well-established civil litigation defense firm is seeking Associate Attorneys (1–10 years of experience) to join its growing Irvine office. The firm focuses primarily on personal injury defense and has built a strong reputation over decades of practice. This firm is known for providing junior attorneys with early trial exposure, hands-on litigation experience, and direct mentorship from experienced partners. The culture is collaborative and supportive, with clear opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Handle civil litigation defense matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Conduct depositions and participate in court appearances
• Prepare cases for trial and assist in trial proceedings
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
• Manage caseloads while meeting billable requirements

Qualifications:

• 1–10 years of civil litigation experience
• Experience in personal injury defense preferred
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Active California Bar license in good standing
