Electrical Estimator - Commercial & Residential Projects

One of our top clients is seeking a talented Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our commercial and single-family residential projects by creating accurate and competitive cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and contracts to identify electrical materials and labor requirements
  • Develop detailed cost estimates for all electrical aspects of projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and permits
  • Research and obtain current market pricing for electrical materials and equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure project scope and budget alignment
  • Prepare and present bids to clients
  • Maintain accurate estimating records and databases

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial or residential projects (or a combination of both)
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (NFPA 70, etc.)
  • Proficient in electrical takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam Revu, Planswift)
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and labor costs
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project) a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
