Job Description

HVAC Manafacturing Operations Director

Purpose: To oversee the daily operations of the company and to ensure that the departmental managers are performing all required functions and business objectives. Fulfill the Company's obligations to its employees, customers, suppliers, and the Principal's etc.

Scope: Operations

Authority: Has authority over all employees in production, quality, maintenance, procurement, shipping & receiving, and human resources.

Department: Manufacturing Reports to: Executives

Manage, direct, and provide positive, performance driven leadership to plant operations encompassing production, quality, maintenance, procurement, shipping & receiving and human resources. Monitor the performance of employees and departments to ensure operational objectives in the areas of cost, quality, productivity, delivery, and employee performance are achieved. Promote organization, cleanliness and 5S programs. Recruit, hire, train and maintain a workforce capable of achieving business objectives. Review employee performance and take disciplinary actions, as necessary. Promote teamwork, quality, productivity, continuous improvement, and safety. Monitor key business indicators and take corrective action to address business concerns. Perform work, tasks and projects assigned by the Executives. Comply with all company policies. Communicate effectively, show respect to fellow coworkers, act professionally and work within a team focused environment.

Qualifications

1. 10 years managing operations in a progressive world class organization.

2. Experience with best business practices related to quality systems, manufacturing, preventative maintenance, continued improvement, corrective action, safety, procurement, and employee development.

3. Appropriate related skills and knowledge.
