Location: Gulf Coast Region (Mobile–Pensacola–New Orleans corridor)
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Overview

A well-established Fire & Life Safety organization is expanding its industrial division and seeking an experienced Industrial Fire Alarm Technician to join its growing team.

This is a growth-driven opportunity supporting a two-year backlog of secured work. The team is promoting internally into leadership and adding a strong industrial technician to support continued expansion.

If you have industrial and special hazard experience and can operate independently in complex environments, this is a high-impact role with long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fire alarm and life safety systems
    • Install systems on new construction projects using design drawings and specifications
    • Program and commission devices on-site
    • Perform inspections and clearly communicate repair or upgrade needs
    • Manage project materials and inventory
    • Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle
    • Operate company vehicle safely and maintain valid driver’s license

    Work includes a mix of service and new construction (approximately 60/40).

Qualifications

  • • Industrial fire alarm experience required
    • Special hazard experience strongly preferred
    • Service AND new construction background
    • Ability to work independently or lead an apprentice
    • NICET II preferred (NICET III/IV highly valued)
    • Strong troubleshooting and commissioning skills

    Candidates with extensive industrial field experience will be considered even if certification level varies.

Compensation & Benefits

• $40 to mid $50s hourly (based on industrial experience)
