Plant Manager

What You'll Do as Plant Manager
As a Plant Manager, you'll:
- Lead and motivate a talented team operating automatic/manual equipment, forklifts, and packaging machinery and other equipment to blend, dispense, fill and package products
- Manage daily operations, keeping everything on track with production schedules.
- Leverage your working knowledge of FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure compliance and quality.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, turning challenges into opportunities.
- Train and develop team members, fostering growth and engagement.
- Champion safety initiatives and maintain a clean, orderly workplace.
- Ensure all products meet specifications outlined in batch tickets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare daily reports and support management with other tasks as needed.
Experience & Skills of Plant Manager
- A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
- Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to manage schedules flexibly.
Education
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
Other Requirements for Plant Manager
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Able to meet physical demands, such as prolonged sitting, walking around the facility, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as needed.
