Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including but not limited to [personal injury, commercial disputes, contracts, employment law, etc.].
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including pre-litigation strategy, depositions, and motion practice.
- Attend court hearings, trials, and settlement conferences.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and provide regular updates.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and records.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in Wisconsin
- 3+ years of experience in civil litigation
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Trial experience is preferred, but not required.
