PAVING EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Our client, a long-standing and respected asphalt paving company, is seeking a skilled Paving Equipment Mechanic to join their team. The Paving Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of asphalt paving equipment, ensuring that the machinery operates efficiently and safely on job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on paving machines, asphalt rollers, and other heavy equipment.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of asphalt paving machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems on various types of paving equipment.
• Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience working with heavy paving equipment such as pavers, rollers, and milling machines.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
