The firm is well-known for defending clients in high-stakes litigation, including complex liability and PI, negligence, employment, environment  and toxic exposure cases. The firm provides top-tier legal services in a collaborative, client-focused environment, representing insurance agencies, industrial clients, and other entities.

Job Description: The firm is seeking an experienced litiagtion defense attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a background in complex litigation, with a proven ability to handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial work. The firm provides aggressive, effective defense strategies while maintaining a collegial and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend clients in multiple types of complex litigation.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft complex legal documents.
  • Collaborate with expert witnesses, consultants, and other attorneys to develop and implement defense strategies.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and trials to advocate for clients' interests.
  • Strong litigation skills, including experience managing complex cases from inception to resolution.
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • License to practice law in Washington.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense to include the areas listed above.
