We are currently working with a World Leading Precision Time & Frequency Technology firm in Nassau County involved in the design, development, and manufacture of high-precision timing, frequency control and synchronization products for satellite and terrestrial applications. Our client offers stability combined with a dynamic team environment in the space and wireless communications industries.

Job Description:

Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer that offers extensive experience in Schematic Capture and PCB layout. Needs to be able to work closely with Electrical and Mechanical engineers and have good communication skills. Knowledge of the tools used in manufacturing of PCBs, mechanical housings and how the electro-mechanical components interconnect. Understanding of the wiring needs for the system and wired components. 

Educational and Required Skills:

Knowledge of Altium Designer Schematic and Layout, PADS Designer and PADS Logic, Autodesk AutoCAD 2022, 3D Mechanical Design Software (Autodesk Inventor 2022). 

Basic knowledge of the requirements of IPC-6012, IPC-6013, IPC-2221, IPC-2222, IPC-222, and ASME Y14.5-2018.

This individual must be team-oriented with good communication skills and able to design being aware of the needs of the customer/engineering and manufacturing.

The candidate must be able to do their own drafting/dimensioning and tolerance analysis.  Basic knowledge of GDT is preferred. 

This position is onsite.

Salary is $100-140k DOE.
