Insurance Coverage Attorney (5+ Years) – Hybrid | Scottsdale, AZ

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Schedule: Hybrid (3 Days In-Office / 2 Remote)
Highly experienced senior candidates may qualify for a more flexible, as-needed in-office schedule
Compensation: $170,000–$200,000 (Based on Experience)

About the Opportunity:

Our client is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join their growing practice in Scottsdale. This role offers a strong mix of sophisticated coverage work, competitive compensation, and flexible scheduling within a collaborative, well-supported environment.

This position is ideal for attorneys who are confident managing complex coverage matters independently and who value both professional growth and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and advise clients on insurance coverage issues and disputes

• Handle coverage opinions, reservations of rights, and policy interpretation

• Manage coverage litigation and declaratory judgment actions

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Represent insurers in coverage-related matters and negotiations

• Collaborate with litigation and claims teams

• Maintain direct client communication and provide strategic guidance

• Manage matters efficiently from inception through resolution

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance coverage experience

• Strong background in policy analysis and coverage litigation

• Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills

• Strong client service and communication abilities

• Active Arizona bar license (or ability to waive in)
