Insurance Defense Associate Attorney (2+ Years) – CA & AZ Licensed | Remote/Hybrid
Location: Remote (Must Reside in California) or Hybrid in Arizona
Licensure: Active California and Arizona Bar Required
Experience: 2+ Years
Schedule: Remote (CA) / Hybrid (AZ)
Compensation: $115,000 - $170,000 (Depending on experience)

About the Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a motivated Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join their growing practice. This role offers flexibility for attorneys based in California to work fully remote, while Arizona-based candidates will enjoy a hybrid schedule in a collaborative office environment.
This position provides hands-on litigation experience, strong mentorship, and long-term growth within a well-resourced and supportive firm.
Key Responsibilities
Defend insured clients in civil litigation matters, including personal injury, general liability, and property damage
Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Draft and respond to discovery and prepare legal memoranda
Conduct depositions and attend mediations and court hearings
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy
Maintain consistent client communication and reporting
Meet deadlines and manage caseloads efficiently
Qualifications
Active bar admission in both California and Arizona (required)
2+ years of insurance defense or related civil litigation experience
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage cases with increasing independence
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Strong work ethic and client-focused mindset
