Sales Executive (Hampton Roads Area, VA)
Full-Time | On-Site | $70,000–$120,000 Base + Uncapped Commission
About the Opportunity
An established organization in the logistics and supply chain industry is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Executive to join their team in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who excels at developing new business, building strong client relationships, and providing customized logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within logistics, freight forwarding, and transportation
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients
Assess customer needs and develop tailored logistics and supply chain solutions
Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing deals
Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction
Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets
Track industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales reports
Qualifications
Required:
3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
Strong negotiation, communication, and consultative selling skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build trust with clients
Preferred:
Experience selling integrated logistics or supply chain solutions
Existing industry network or book of business
CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Compensation & Benefits
$70,000–$120,000 base salary

Location
This role is on-site in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, with regional travel required to meet clients.
