Audit Manager

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Overview

A growth-minded regional CPA and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Manager for its growing Salt Lake City office. You will manage audits, reviews and compilations from planning to completion with a focus on financial services engagements. Hybrid options are available; candidates must be based near Salt Lake City, with some travel between February and April.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial services engagements and delegate to staff
• Act as a technical resource for staff and seniors
• Manage service responsibility for clients
• Supervise, train and coach staff and prepare performance reviews
• Identify and explore emerging issues

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent public accounting experience in financial services
• Solid understanding of audit and attest services, FASB and GAAP
• Bachelor's degree and CPA exam completion or CPA license required
• Strong communication, analytical and research abilities
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
