Position Summary:
As an Automation Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complete and functional automation systems. You’ll work with CAD, sketches, and technical notes to bring concepts to life, collaborating with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and review technical drawings with precise dimensional accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams on design and application.
  • Manage projects from concept through completion as an Automation Controls Engineer.
  • Construct drawings from rough sketches or concepts.
  • Review and critique engineering standards and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience with PLC programming and electrical circuits.
  • Strong math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
  • Proficiency in drafting software and computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and detail orientation.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Safety-conscious with a commitment to shop safety.
