Job Description

A confidential, established food manufacturing company is seeking a Second Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on a high-volume production line. This role ensures safe, efficient, and consistent production of high-quality food products while supporting team development and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise 20+ production employees during second shift

  • Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals

  • Ensure employees follow company policies, GMPs, and safety procedures

  • Monitor yields, downtime, and throughput and take action to improve results

  • Communicate needs between production, maintenance, QA, and scheduling

  • Support completion of production reports and shift documentation

  • Train, coach, and develop employees in line with company standards

  • Maintain proper staffing levels to support production demands

  • Address performance issues and reinforce positive behavior

  • Ensure all products meet customer and regulatory requirements

  • Promote a safety-first culture and strong teamwork on shift

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience

  • Understanding of GMPs, food safety, and production processes

  • Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work second shift and support a fast-paced environment

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred

  • USDA or meat/RTE production experience

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and proven ability to drive improvements
