A confidential, established food manufacturing company is seeking a Second Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on a high-volume production line. This role ensures safe, efficient, and consistent production of high-quality food products while supporting team development and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Supervise 20+ production employees during second shift
Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals
Ensure employees follow company policies, GMPs, and safety procedures
Monitor yields, downtime, and throughput and take action to improve results
Communicate needs between production, maintenance, QA, and scheduling
Support completion of production reports and shift documentation
Train, coach, and develop employees in line with company standards
Maintain proper staffing levels to support production demands
Address performance issues and reinforce positive behavior
Ensure all products meet customer and regulatory requirements
Promote a safety-first culture and strong teamwork on shift
Requirements
2+ years of experience in food manufacturing
Prior leadership or supervisory experience
Understanding of GMPs, food safety, and production processes
Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work second shift and support a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or GED
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred
USDA or meat/RTE production experience
Bilingual English/Spanish
Strong troubleshooting skills and proven ability to drive improvements
