We are seeking a detail-oriented New Matter Intake Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and efficient handling of new client and matter openings, as well as managing conflicts processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the intake and matter opening process from start to finish
Conduct conflict checks and coordinate resolutions when necessary
Ensure compliance with firm policies and client requirements
Maintain accurate records and documentation in firm systems
Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and leadership to support firm operations
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in conflicts and new matter intake/matter opening
Experience in legal administration strongly preferred; large law firm (LA) experience a plus
Proficiency with relevant legal technology platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
