Civil Litigation Attorney – Fairfax, Virginia

A well-respected, award-winning law firm based in Fairfax, Virginia is seeking a full-time Virginia-licensed attorney with civil litigation and trial experience to join its collaborative and high-performing legal team. 

This position offers the chance to take ownership of a litigation caseload with a high level of autonomy, while benefiting from the support of a strong, collegial, and well-resourced team. Attorneys in this role engage daily with clients, create and implement litigation strategies, and focus on practicing law—not business development or administrative tasks.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Active Virginia law license
• Substantial experience in civil litigation (required)
• Trial experience (required)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear, compassionate, and confident communication skills
• A genuine desire to help clients through challenging transitions
• DC and/or Maryland bar admission (a plus, not required)
• Background in commercial, contract, or real estate litigation (a plus)
