Job Title: Drywall/Framing Superintendent

Location: On-Site, Full-Time

Job Overview:We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Drywall/Framing Superintendent to lead our projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing construction sites, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. This role demands excellent leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams, subcontractors, and clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations on drywall and framing projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company protocols.
  • Lead and manage subcontractors, tradespeople, and in-house labor, fostering an environment of teamwork and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Handle project budgeting, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost control.
  • Utilize tools like Bluebeam, Procore, and other project management software to maintain clear documentation and communication.
  • Perform regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are being met and that work is progressing as planned.
  • Proactively address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, resolving them promptly to avoid delays.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to report on project status, potential risks, and upcoming milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in the drywall and framing sector, with hands-on experience managing projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, scopes of work, and contract management.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Proficient in using project management software, including Bluebeam, Procore, or similar tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects at once.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Must be adaptable and solution-oriented, able to handle challenges and keep projects moving forward.
