Position Overview:

Seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Law Attorney to join their remote team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of family law matters and a passion for providing personalized, effective legal solutions that put clients’ best interests first.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse range of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child abuse and neglect, and related matters
  • Provide clients with clear, empathetic legal guidance and support throughout their case
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, settlement agreements, and court filings
  • Represent clients effectively in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances (virtually when necessary)
  • Collaborate with the team to develop strategic case approaches and achieve favorable outcomes
  • Maintain strong communication with clients to keep them informed and reassured

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar
  • 3+ years of experience in family law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and integrity
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment
