Field Service Technician
Job Responsibilities
Install, commission, service, and repair flexible packaging machinery and related mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues using technical schematics and documentation.
Support start-ups, train operators, and ensure smooth handoff after installation.
Document service activities and provide technical feedback for product improvement.
Travel 100% across North America to customer sites, often on short notice.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical field service or a closely related role.
Strong mechanical background with the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
Hands-on experience with packaging, extrusion, or printing equipment.
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout North America.
