Job Description

We are working with a client that is seeking a skilled and experienced business lawyer to excel in their dynamic environment and meet the high standards set for their valued clients. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrating exceptional client care and a professional approach to addressing client needs. You should be an organized multitasker with a genuine interest in our clients' matters.

While bringing an existing client base is a plus, it is not a requirement. The successful candidate will receive support to expand their practice.

Location: Abbotsford

Job Details:

• Strong ability to manage corporate transactions, including negotiating and preparing agreements, handling commercial real estate transactions, commercial leasing and borrowing, corporate reorganizations, and buying and selling businesses.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Good work ethic and strong communication abilities.
• A sense of humor and a commitment to marketing yourself and the firm through various networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years or more of legal practice in BC and in good standing with the Law Society of BC.
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, professionalism, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both internal and external professionals.
• Results-driven, analytical, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a logical approach to problem-solving.

Compensation:

• Salary range based on experience and year of call.
