Tax Manager

Location: Orlando, FL

Overview

A growing Florida CPA firm is seeking a Tax Manager in Orlando to lead tax engagements for privately held companies, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals, providing both compliance and consulting services across a range of industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple tax engagements from planning to delivery
• Provide consulting and compliance services to privately held businesses and individuals
• Supervise and mentor staff in a team-oriented environment
• Perform technical tax research and develop strategic recommendations
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities
• Oversee engagement economics, including budgeting, billing and collections
• Review Forms 1040, 1041, 990, 1065, 1120 and 1120-S

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Tax or JD/LLM a plus)
• Active CPA license
• 6+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or a corporate/public blend
• Advanced knowledge of flow-through and pass-through taxation
• Strong leadership, project management, communication and client service skills
