A growing multi-state healthcare law firm with over 35 years of experience is seeking a skilled Healthcare Attorney to join our Regulatory & Licensure Division.

Position Overview

The primary focus of this role is representing healthcare providers in administrative licensing matters and appeals. The successful candidate will manage a significant caseload and develop strategic approaches that drive successful outcomes for clients.

Additional matters, including credentialing and peer review cases, may be assigned as experience and competency are demonstrated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent healthcare professionals in:

    • Administrative licensing investigations and hearings

    • Licensure defense and appeals

    • Healthcare-related litigation matters

  • Handle administrative law issues involving state and federal regulatory agencies

  • Develop and execute strategic case plans independently

  • Prepare for and appear at administrative hearings (hearing experience strongly preferred)

  • Advise clients on professional licensing, compliance, and regulatory matters

  • Address credentialing and peer review issues as assigned

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Active license and good standing with at least one state bar

  • Minimum 4+ years of litigation experience

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative law and/or healthcare litigation

  • Experience with professional licensing matters required

  • Administrative hearing experience preferred

  • Knowledge of peer review, credentialing, and/or federal administrative procedures in healthcare strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to independently manage a significant caseload

  • Strong analytical, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills
