Job Description

Firm seeking a Senior Level Accountant with public accounting experience to join a leading CPA firm in the area. The Accountant will provide assistance and guidance to individuals and businesses in basic tax management, accounting services and also financial services. Responsibilities of Accountant:

  • Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs
  • Follow our company’s established accounting processes
  • Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry
  • Perform monthly bank settlements
  • Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
  • Provide detailed reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare documentation of external auditors

Qualifications of Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 150 college credits. 
  • 5 years of public accounting experience
  • Experience in individual, partnership and corporate tax
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Highly organized with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • CPA preferred or eligible to take the CPA exam.
