Position: Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a range of cases in general liability and premises liability.
  • Provide strong legal representation for clients, effectively managing cases from inception to resolution.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys, leveraging your legal knowledge to contribute to successful case outcomes.
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, and appear in court as necessary.
  • Analyze case law, prepare briefs, motions, and other legal documents.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to practice law in Tennessee
  • 3+ years of experience in insurance defense, focusing on general liability and/or premises liability.
  • Experience in New York Labor Law is a plus, but candidates with strong general liability/premises liability experience will be considered.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
