I am looking for an SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR for a financial institution in the Greater Cleveland area to start immediately. This is a full time and IN OFFICE position!
- Previous IT system administration experience Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems; server, desktop, laptop, network and peripheral hardware; and LAN/WAN networks.
- Technical planning, project management.
- Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with technical as well as non-technical users.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Expectations:
- Ensure prompt response to and recovery from systems and network related production interruptions, across multiple hardware platforms, networks and operating systems.
- Anticipate system and network security/integrity risks and ensure adequate safeguards are maintained.
- Ensure software remains current and compliant by testing and updating software as new versions are released.
- Identify opportunities to improve services to the institution and/or its members through use of new products and technologies.
- Develop recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to products, pricing and processes by monitoring trends in financial services operations.
- Keep senior management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the department.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation and support services/warranties for new equipment, software, hardware, and peripherals.
- Keep abreast of state-of-the-art hardware and software developments. Recommend new technologies that enhance the efficiency and security of the network infrastructure.
- Maintain and administer internal and external email systems. Research problems, resolve issues, and evaluate vendors on an on-going basis.
- Monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with vendors’ regulations.
- Research and diagnose IT problems within the entire infrastructure, troubleshoot, and provide solutions. Test solutions to ensure a correct solution.
