1ST SHIFT WASTEWATER TECHNICIAN

Western Ohio | $25-$35/Hour | Weekly Attendance Bonus

gpac is partnering with an established food manufacturing company in Western Ohio seeking an experienced Wastewater Technician to join its 1st shift team.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment, including pumps, valves, filters, and related systems

• Perform daily inspections and monitor wastewater treatment operations

• Collect water and sludge samples for laboratory testing

• Adjust treatment processes as necessary

• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with equipment repairs

• Maintain accurate operational logs, records, and reports

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations

• Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 2-3 years of industrial wastewater treatment experience preferred

• Valid Wastewater Certification

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read technical manuals and follow SOPs

• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and environmental compliance regulations

• PLC or SCADA experience is a plus

• Forklift or equipment operation certification is a plus
