Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our growing team in Arizona. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance coverage, including substantive opinion writing and litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage a diverse caseload and directly impact our clients' success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis related to complex insurance coverage matters.
- Draft detailed coverage opinions, position letters, and other correspondence on behalf of insurer clients.
- Manage a full litigation caseload from inception to resolution, which includes drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Provide timely and practical legal advice to clients on emerging issues and compliance.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active and in good standing license to practice law in Arizona.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage law, with a strong background in opinion writing and litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
- A self-starter who is able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $135,000–$160,000, commensurate with experience.
- Work-Life Balance: Hybrid schedule with three days in-office and two days remote.
