Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our growing team in Arizona. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance coverage, including substantive opinion writing and litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage a diverse caseload and directly impact our clients' success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis related to complex insurance coverage matters.
  • Draft detailed coverage opinions, position letters, and other correspondence on behalf of insurer clients.
  • Manage a full litigation caseload from inception to resolution, which includes drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Provide timely and practical legal advice to clients on emerging issues and compliance.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active and in good standing license to practice law in Arizona.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage law, with a strong background in opinion writing and litigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • A self-starter who is able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $135,000–$160,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Work-Life Balance: Hybrid schedule with three days in-office and two days remote.
