**Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager — Cleveland, OH**
Pay: $122,000 – $172,000 per year
Ready for a bigger seat at the table? Several well-regarded CPA and advisory firms across Greater Cleveland are adding Tax Managers and Senior Tax Managers. You'll own client relationships, lead meaningful planning work, and help grow the next generation of tax talent, with a real path to Director or Partner.
What you'll do:
- Manage and review complex corporate, partnership, S corporation, individual, and trust returns
- Own a portfolio of business and high-net-worth clients as their year-round tax advisor
- Lead proactive tax planning and consulting projects, not just compliance
- Research technical issues and turn them into clear, practical recommendations
- Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and billing
- Coach, review, and develop seniors and staff
- Senior Tax Manager level: help drive practice growth, client development, and firm initiatives
What you bring:
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience for Tax Manager; 8+ years for Senior Tax Manager
- Active CPA license (or CPA-eligible with strong review experience); MST a plus
- Strong review skills across business and individual returns
- Confident client communication and relationship building
- A team-first leader who enjoys mentoring others
