Litigation Legal Secretary – Los Angeles, CA

A premier mid-sized firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary with at least five years of civil litigation experience. The ideal candidate excels in civil litigation, calendaring, organization, and independent work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and finalize legal documents, TOAs, TOCs, letters, and reports.
• Manage docketing, calendaring, and state/federal court filings, including e-filing.
• Handle administrative tasks: phone calls, expense reports, travel arrangements, and schedules.
• Support multiple attorneys and cases while working independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of litigation secretary experience.
• Expertise in state and federal court filing rules and procedures (including e-filing).
• Strong calendaring skills without reliance on programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (iManage, Coyote Analytics, PACER).
• Skilled in drafting legal documents (motions, discovery, pleadings).
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and able to work under pressure.
