We are an established litigation firm located in the heart of the Chicago Loop. Our practice focuses primarily on civil defense and insurance litigation, including insurance coverage claims involving construction, professional liability, property and casualty, serious personal injury, and wrongful death. Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage Attorney with 3 to 6 years of substantive insurance coverage experience to join our team. Candidates with additional experience and potential portable business will also be considered. This role requires handling a variety of complex insurance coverage matters independently.

Attorneys will be given the ability to grow within our other practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage insurance coverage cases
  • Draft coverage opinions, motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
  • Take and defend party and expert depositions
  • Participate in trial preparation and strategy development
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Manage caseloads and meet deadlines consistently

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois
  • Minimum 3 years of substantive insurance coverage law experience
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Proven experience drafting legal documents and taking depositions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex insurance coverage litigation
