Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Steel Detailer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience detailing structural steel and miscellaneous metals packages using SDS2 software. This is a fully remote position that requires a detail-oriented professional capable of producing high-quality shop and erection drawings with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate structural and miscellaneous steel drawings using SDS2.
Interpret and apply information from architectural and structural drawings.
Ensure detailing output meets industry and client standards.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators as needed.
Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects remotely.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience in steel detailing.
Proficient with SDS2 software.
Strong understanding of structural and miscellaneous metal components.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coordinating with fabrication and field teams.
Knowledge of AISC standards and fabrication processes.
