Job Description:

We are seeking a certified Environmental Consultant / Inspector to join a respected environmental services firm serving San Diego County. This field-based role covers projects from Oceanside to Chula Vista (central candidates preferred), with lab support located in San Diego city. This is a strong opportunity for a motivated consultant seeking long-term growth and the ability to step into a senior-level presence as the current CAC transitions.

 Responsibilities:

  • Perform asbestos and lead inspections, testing, and sampling.
  • Conduct field investigations in residential and commercial environments.
  • Operate XRF/XRS equipment for lead testing (if experienced).
  • Prepare clear, compliant reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal lab teams and manage schedule via CRM.
  • Maintain professional client communication and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • CAC OR CSST required.
  • EPA Lead Certification required.
  • AHERA license (bonus).
  • XRF/XRS experience (bonus).
  • 2+ years of field inspection and sampling experience required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage field schedule required.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
