Gpac is working with a leading crop production company committed to sustainable practices and efficient agricultural operations. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to help maintain and service the machinery that keeps their production thriving—from planting to harvest and everything in between.
Position Summary
The Agricultural Equipment Technician will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a variety of ag equipment, including tractors, combines, sprayers, irrigation systems, and other farm-related machinery. This role ensures operational readiness and supports the farm team in delivering high-quality results in a timely and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on agricultural equipment
Perform routine maintenance and seasonal prep on machinery
Maintain service records and document repairs accurately
Work closely with farm managers and operators to ensure timely service and minimal downtime
Operate equipment for testing and calibration purposes
Order and manage inventory of parts and tools as needed
Ensure safety protocols are followed in all repair and maintenance activities
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications preferred)
2+ years of experience maintaining agricultural or heavy equipment
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
CDL or willingness to obtain (preferred)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions
