We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join a growing practice in the Knoxville area.
About the Role
This position focuses on handling workers’ compensation matters from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of workers’ compensation experience. However, we are open to the right candidate who may not have direct workers’ comp experience but has a strong interest in the practice area and is eager to learn and grow within it.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation matters
Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings and motions
Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations
Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients
Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the Tennessee Bar
3+ years of workers’ compensation experience preferred
Strong interest in practicing workers’ compensation law (required)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
