Project Manager (Construction Management)

Location: Akron, OH area | Employment Type: Full Time | Salary: $90,000–$110,000+ | Hybrid work available

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of construction administration and oversight projects for public and private clients.

  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of engineers and technicians performing inspections, documentation, and quality control.

  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and public agencies—providing clear updates and proactive problem-solving.

  • Review contracts, proposals, and project risks; ensure compliance with all applicable specifications and standards.

  • Represent the company professionally at client meetings, community presentations, and industry events.

  • Foster an environment of collaboration, mentorship, and growth across your team.


🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (required).

  • Ohio PE license (required) and the ability to become prequalified as a CE-2 with ODOT (preferred).

  • 10+ years of experience managing construction or civil projects; 7+ years in a leadership role preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and team leadership skills.

  • Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

  • Experience with both horizontal and vertical construction projects is a plus.
