An ideal candidate will have expertise in manual lathe and mills or be able to G-Code complex CNC programs, or have expertise in EDM machining. This is not a CNC operator position.
Responsibilities
· Operate manual lathes and milling machines
· Operate various EDM equipment (Will offer training)
· Program and operate CNC milling machines and lathes (desired)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Agile with manual lathes and milling machines
· Experience with EDM Sinker, wire EDM and hole popper is preferred
· Experience with CNC milling machines and lathes
· Positive can-do attitude
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Focused on quality and results oriented
· Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time while completing fast and accurate deliverables
Optional Skills and Abilities
· Basic AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or Inventor would be a plus
· Post processing experience with Mastercam or Esprit would be beneficial
· Understanding of eddy current and UT methods a plus
· Understanding of quality programs
