Job Description

A well-regarded Bethesda law firm is looking for a Trusts & Estates attorney to join its growing estate planning practice. You'll work with high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated planning matters, with real client contact and room to build your own practice.

What you'll do

  • Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
  • Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning
  • Handle trust and estate administration and probate matters in Maryland and D.C.
  • Prepare estate and gift tax returns (Forms 706 and 709)
  • Work directly with clients, partners, and other advisors such as CPAs and financial planners

What you bring

  • 5 to 15 years of trusts and estates experience
  • Admission to the Maryland Bar (D.C. admission a plus)
  • Strong drafting and tax planning skills
  • A client-focused, collaborative approach

Compensation and schedule

  • Competitive base salary, depending on experience
  • Fully in office in Bethesda, MD
  • Full benefits package
