Job Description: As a Dermatology Physician Assistant, you will work directly under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist, providing medical dermatology care to patients. You will play a key role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatologic conditions, performing various procedures, and ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations, including medical history and physical exams
  • Diagnose and manage a variety of dermatologic conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin cancer)
  • Perform minor dermatologic procedures (e.g., biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy)
  • Interpret lab results and imaging studies
  • Provide patient education on skincare and treatment plans
  • Assist in maintaining thorough and accurate patient records
  • Collaborate closely with the physician to develop and adjust treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dermatology research and best practices

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Dermatology Physician Assistant under a board-certified dermatologist
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Texas
  • Strong knowledge of medical dermatology conditions and treatments
  • Ability to perform dermatologic procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and patient-focused care
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • BLS/ACLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, patient-centered dermatology practice
