Position Overview:
As the Drywall Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of drywall projects. You’ll manage schedules, budgets, and resources while fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all aspects of drywall projects from inception to completion.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring costs align with projections and goals.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure quality control.
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Coordinate material procurement and delivery to meet project timelines.
- Identify and mitigate risks to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the drywall or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of drywall installation processes, materials, and tools.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and construction standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field (preferred but not required).
