Position Overview:We are looking for a Civil Litigator with 2-5 years of experience to handle a diverse caseload. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.
- Draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
- Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure clients' best interests are prioritized.
- Provide excellent client service and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
- Attend trials and arbitrations as necessary, handling all aspects of trial preparation and presentation.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience as a civil litigator with a strong background in commercial litigation, tort claims, or similar areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Admission to the [State] Bar (or eligible to practice in [State]).
