Personal Injury Attorney – Connecticut

Location: Hartford, CT (On-Site)

A well-established Connecticut law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its practice. This role is best suited for a candidate with meaningful Connecticut personal injury experience who is prepared to step in and manage cases independently from day one.

The Managing Partner does not have the capacity for extensive training or supervision. Candidates must be comfortable handling a caseload with minimal oversight and contributing immediately.

Qualifications

  • Active Connecticut Bar admission (required)

  • Prior experience practicing personal injury law in Connecticut

  • Ability to independently manage a PI caseload

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with case management software (experience with Filevine or similar systems preferred)

  • Stable employment history preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury matters from intake through resolution

  • Conduct case evaluations, discovery, motion practice, and negotiations

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurers, and experts

  • Maintain accurate and timely case documentation

  • Meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently
