The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of civil procedure, have experience in all phases of litigation, and be comfortable representing clients in both state and federal court. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.
  • Draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure clients' best interests are prioritized.
  • Provide excellent client service and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Attend trials and arbitrations as necessary, handling all aspects of trial preparation and presentation.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a civil litigator with a strong background in commercial litigation, tort claims, or similar areas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Admission to the [State] Bar (or eligible to practice in [State]).
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
