Position Summary

As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, primarily focusing on insurance defense. This role requires a candidate with sharp litigation skills, a proactive approach to case management, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of insurance defense litigation, including depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Build strong relationships with clients and effectively communicate case updates.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective case resolution.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Virginia (in good standing).
• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation preferred.
• Strong trial preparation and courtroom experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple cases.
