Location: Massachusetts/New Hampshire

Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 (with additional consideration up to $350,000 for partners bringing a book of business)

Position Overview

The Tax Practice Attorney will play a critical role in advising clients on the tax implications, risks, and opportunities of both ongoing and new business entity structures and addressing tax controversy matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the tax practice area with expertise and vision.
• Advise on individual, partnership, and corporate tax matters related to complex commercial transactions.
• Structure mergers, acquisitions, business formations, and debt and equity financing.
• Provide guidance on employee compensation and benefits matters.
• Draft memoranda and documents for clients across a wide variety of industries.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and in good standing.
• 20+ years of relevant experience, including leadership and practice management skills.
