Addiction Counselor (Outpatient) in Sioux Falls

Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addiction Counselor to join our outpatient team in the Sioux Falls area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals struggling with substance use disorders and will be committed to providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine client needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support clients and their families through education and resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure (LAC, LPC, LCSW, etc.) preferred.
• Experience in addiction counseling is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
